Cambodian Chicken Curry
Very famous dish! Most favorite dish in Khmer Cuisine. The tradition is to serve chicken curry during Khmer New Year or as offering to the Pagodas for monks.
Started with basic spices called ‘kroeung’ consists of lots of lemongrass, fresh lime leaves, kaffir lime zest, turmeric, ginger, galangal, dried chiles, rhizome, garlic, shallot and prahok (fermented fish).
Plus lots of coconut milk, fish sauce, sugar to add while cooking of the chicken pieces. Let go and try and have some fun with this amazing cuisine…!
